   Over 1,000 Vietnam veterans marched around the White House; 110 were arrested on the steps of the Supreme Court for demanding to know why the Court had not ruled the war “unconstitutional.” That same day, John Kerry, decorated 27-year-old two-tour Navy veteran, gave testimony before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee against the war. His presentation was reinforced by stories from fellow veterans who bore witness about ''the absolute horror of what this country, in a sense, made them do'' in Southeast Asia.
